As many have probably heard, comedian, Steve Harvey, also an accomplished writer and family-man, has made his living off of not only being funny and doing what's right, but also by providing lifetime advice through literature. If you've been to the movie theater in the past month or so, previews for Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, featuring Gabrielle Union, Regina Hall, Terrance J, Michael Ealy, amongst others, is a film based off of New York Time's Best Seller's listing, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, by Steve Harvey. My advice, read the book. It's amazing.
As women, young ones at that, we typically wonder what men are thinking and why they do the things they do. After reading this book, I have a much better insight on what my male family members, friends, and peers are typically thinking. This can be quiet frightening, however, very informative. I highly encourage that everyone read this book, and possibly watch the feature film when it hits theaters April 20th, 2012.
