While away in Croatia, I stayed in the town of Split, which can be found in the Diocletian Palace, a structure along the harbor. The first thing I think of when I hear the word "hostel" is a little hotel that someone stays in for a short period of time with many people. In this case, this was the total opposite of what I had ever expected. The Goli + Bosi Split Design Hostel is place of 29 rooms, clean linens and a friendly staff at all times, oh, but there's more, it's also a restaurant (which was amazing if I might add).
Goli + Bosi had a nice urban, modern feel to it the moment I walked in. The black and bright yellow coloring around the hostel was breathtaking, and had shown me that even in Croatia, style is always around. A picture is worth a thousand words, if not more. Check out their website and see if you want to spend your next group trip to Split in style!
