The Intern-Who?

Lauren Berger, probably one of the most influential people I have ever heard about, has got it all. She is who everyone across the country refers to as The Intern Queen. After graduating from college and completing 15 internships in a span of four years, there's no one I would look up to more than her. Lauren is the CEO of Intern Queen, Inc, which serves as an internship paradise. But there's more to Lauren than just her website and services.
When 2012 began, a new paperback hit the selves of bookstores across the United States. All Work, No Pay, defiantly made a huge hit, considering that while I was in Washington, not one bookstore in the area had any copies in stock.  I don't remember when the last time I was on a mission for a book, well I do, but that's besides the point. The point is, if you can get to a bookstore, LOOK FOR THIS BOOK! I've only had it a few days, and I have never been so careful and cautious about materials.
As every good author, Lauren does an excellent job dividing the chapters, and providing outlines within them. She also provides charts, lists, and tips that refer to internships, especially while being an underclassman. Honestly, and with respect, the career services at institutions can only help you with so much. It is up to you as a student to make the stride, and I think Lauren Berger's book defiantly will give you, as it probably has for others, the push needed to succeed.
