Beach Time = Cooking Time

     March, the month where colleges around the country begin to send students on a fun-filled week of excess homework and limited time to relax. Fortunately for me, this was not the case. Spring Break 2012 for me has been very relaxed and filled of great food, which was prepared by, well me!!
    My vacation spot of choice is Virginia Beach, Virginia, but for more reasons than just the beach. While here, I spend time with old friends, family, cook, and take my time to relax on the beach. So far this week, I have been cooking NON-STOP!! Below is a preview of what I have made last night.


  • Wacky Mac Veggie Pasta (Bow-ties)
  • Olive Oil 
  • Marinaded Chicken (I used Italian dressing)
  • Baby Carrots
  • 10 Grape Tomatoes (Slices)
  • Snow Peas
 Prep Time: 10-15min
Cook Time: 20min


  •  Cake Shells or Mini/round pound-cakes
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Strawberries (slices, soaked with 1tbs of sugar)
Prep Time: 15 min (time for strawberries to marinate in sugar)
Cook Time/Prepare Time: 5-10 min
