One Lap, Two Lap, Three Lap, RELAY!

    As many of you know, Relay for Life is one of the biggest foundations against cancer in America. Each year, students, friends, family, caretakers, and victims/survivors alike take a day to raise money and recognize and remember those who are currently fighting the battle and have lost the battle to over 200 forms of cancer. What can you do about it? Fundraisers and raise awareness!! There is so much that needs to be done and the only way to do it is to donate! With only about 50 days until Relay for Life at my university, it is important that everyone is aware of the event and gives back in one way or another.
  Donations can be made through check, cash, money-order, and online. Also, instead of directly donating money, you can purchase a Luminaria, a white paper bag decorated with the person's name (In Honor Of), as well as a battery-operated candle inside, and they are used to light the tracks and paths throughout the night of Relay. Luminarias are $10 and can be purchased online. It may not seem like much, but the emotion on someone's face can change dramatically, believe me.
