Here's a little background about me and my skin. Dry to oily to dry to combination. Enough said right? Nope, not at all. In July, I went to my local Body Shop to find either a cleanser or moisturizer for scars. To my surprise, the consultant recommended the Tea Tree Body Wash, from their Tea Tree line. After about two weeks of using the product continually, I noticed a change on my arms, back, and shoulders. I even used it on my face a few times and what a difference!

Around the same time, I realized I needed something new for my face. The usual items from CVS, Walgreen's, and Target were not doing justice. I honestly believe my skin had gotten too used to the average product, so I decided to venture back into The Body Shop and try something new. Having combination skin is something that is important to watch because some cleaners work better than others. Luckily, The Body Shop carries lines that promoted the same cleaners in two different forms, a gel and a cream. For my skin type, especially since I am in an ever-changing environment, I purchased the Deep Cleansing Facial Wash. The gel type cleaners feels refreshing on my skin and does not leave it feeling oily after I wash it off. In addition to the cleaner, I purchased the SeaWeed Ionic Clay Mask. Before purchasing, the consultant provided me with a sample (most consultants will provide customers with a small sample to take home a try out to ensure that is the type of product the customer is looking for). Within one application, the look on my grandmother's face and her comment, I knew this product was doing what it needed to do. After about 15 minutes, I used warm water to wash it off and patted it dry (not wiped, but patted). I applied the Pore Perfector from the same line (which is highly recommended to use at night) and went to sleep. The next morning, my skin was feeling clean and tight.

These products are some of the best that I have used in a long time. I actually am almost out of the body wash and facial cleaner, so you might be seeing me at a Body Shop nearest you!
